When and How our Problems Start?
"How and how much is God related to your life?" Usually, we are all so involved in our ordinary life that these considerations never come up. We say, "There is God." We respect Him. Sometimes, we take a moment to worship Him. But for the rest of the time, He is not really in our life. Even those people who attend church or temple once a week admit that, for the remembrance of the week, God has nothing to do with their lives.
How can we make someone understand that there has to be this connection (between our life and God)? The whole purpose of Sadhana is to have this connection run through our life.... It is our misconception of ourselves as isolated individuals that is the root of all our problems. When we experience ourselves as isolated individuals disconnected from God, then, all of our problems and all our stress start. When does it start? It starts when we get too involved in the life process and lose our awareness of God's presence in our life.
