Swami Sivananda: "A man in his ego-centric attitude sits in judgement on others' conduct and ways, while, in himself, he has innumerable defects and frailties which need to be scrutinised and eradicated. It has been the habit with people to ignore their own weakness and see the same in others magnified as through a microscope. Let the torch of criticism aimed at others be directed against oneself. Let the pride with which one is obsessed, be laid in the dust."
